The WashKey System works as follows:
A plastic moulded WashKey with a microchip inserted into it is given or sold to the customer.
The customer can purchase credit to the value of $999 on their WashKey.
Each bay at the carwash contains a WashKey reader.
To use the customer holds up their wash key against the reader and it will deduct the correct amount from the WashKey.
When their credit has run out, they can purchase more credit on the same Wash Key from the attendant at the carwash.
To load more credit onto the customer's wash key, the attendant places the WashKey onto a hand held programmer and can add credit in multiples of 10 or 50 at a time.
